According to an article by foxbusiness.com by 2035 one fifth of the people in the United States will be aged 65 or older that could mean that one out of three households will be the top of their age group. Because of this data shows that growth in the housing market could increase so much that it will increase the demand for accessible housing. Supply and demand are still not there with projections years 2015-2035. Another interesting tidbit of data shows income dropping significantly after the age of 75, averaging from $54k-36k.
